Description:

The Green Dot rainwater harvesting filter boasts a generous inside volume of 6 liters, providing ample capacity for collecting rainwater. It comes equipped with two filters to ensure thorough filtration: a micron filter and a net filter. The primary filter features a mesh size of 100, while the secondary filter achieves a filtration level of 5 microns, effectively removing impurities and contaminants from the collected rainwater.

Process:

Collection: Rainwater is collected from rooftops or other surfaces and directed into the filter system through a 2-inch inlet diameter.

Primary Filtration (Mesh Size 100): Upon entering the system, rainwater first encounters the primary filter, which has a mesh size of 100. This filter captures larger particles such as leaves, twigs, and debris, preventing them from entering the storage tank.

Secondary Filtration (5 Microns): After passing through the primary filter, the rainwater moves through the secondary filter, which has a filtration level of 5 microns. This finer filter removes smaller particles and sediment, ensuring the water's cleanliness and quality.

Separation: Throughout the filtration process, any impurities and contaminants present in the rainwater are effectively separated and retained by the filters.

Storage: The filtered rainwater is then stored in the system's inside volume, which has a capacity of 6 liters, ready for use whenever needed.

Outlet: When required, the filtered rainwater can be accessed through the outlet, which has a diameter of 1.5 inches. The flow rate of the filtered water is 5 liters per second with a 2-meter head, providing a steady and sufficient supply for various applications such as irrigation, cleaning, or other non-potable uses.
